| From the mail screen, open the file menu menu and choose import/export |
| Choose "Export
to File" |

| Under "Create a file of type" choose "Comma
Separated Values (Windows)" |

| Be sure to choose your contacts if you are exporting your contacts or calendar if you are exporting your calender. |

| Choose the location to save the file (the desktop is an easy place to find it later) |

| This is the file you will use when importing your contacts to another client. |

| Exporting an Outlook Calendar |
| Outlook 2003 and earlier exports the calendar in cvs format. |
| Follow the screenshots above, but choose the calendar folder instead of contacts. |
| There are free import tools for importing this cvs format to vCalendar, iCalendar, iCal format (vcs / ics file). |
| Once you have exported and saved your calendar.cvs file you can convert it here: |
